BrainWeave, interesting name right?! What was the first thought that came to your mind after you read our name?

As the name suggests, Brainweave refers to the intertwining of the brain’s hemispheres; i.e. the right hemisphere and the left hemisphere

As you are well aware about the fact that your brain is divided into 2 parts, the left side and the right side that may look alike but have a huge difference in how they process information. If you’re mostly analytical and methodical in your thinking, you’re said to be left-brained. If you tend to be more creative or artistic, you’re thought to be right-brained. According to Sperry’s dated research, the left brain is also connected to:

• sequencing
• linear thinking
• mathematics
• facts
• thinking in words

The right brain is more visual and intuitive. It’s sometimes referred to as the analog brain. It has a more creative and less organized way of thinking.

We as BrainWeave aim for holistic development of our students by teaching them to utilize both sides of their brain to their fullest potential. In today’s fast paced world where there is competition everywhere one has to now indulge in multitasking and be a competent all rounder. But what if all the hard work was done in a fun and interactive so that the child while indulgence in simple activities and play learn lesson of life and develops benevolence, kindness, creativity, confidence, decision making skills, critical thinking and etc. we have interactive and unique methods to teach the children and allow them fully explore themselves and the world we live in.

Children are more like a sponge when they are young; every new word they hear, every new experience they go through, every behavior they observe, it is all absorbed into their tender minds. In fact, childhood constitutes the most impressionable years of an individual’s life, and investing in quality education during these delicate years paves the path for a fruitful future.

Everyone is aware, theoretical knowledge is never enough for an individual to develop entirely and progress in life. Practical training is a must in every human’s life to mature and evolve extensively. The team of Brainweave is extremely passionate to help children learn and acquire all the necessary skills and training beginning from an early age because the earlier one starts to know and learn, the more he/she can retain and foster accordingly. At BRAINWEAVE the aim is not to provide your child with syllabuses and textual knowledge and make them book smart but here we develop qualities like emotional intelligence, understanding of self, perspective, compassion and overall personality development. Here we aim to make your child people-smart and most importantly a glorified soul who cares not only about himself/herself but also the nature, surrounding and society.The major aspect that makes us distinctive is the involvement of fundamental parameters in our curriculum and website which is usually not considered as important. One knows the significance of IQ, EQ, Creativity, Perspective, Social skills, personality development, and authentic communication skills but are unable to apply practically in life because they perhaps did not get the opportunity of grabbing these essential abilities in their childhood.

2. 3rd-5th
3. 6th-8th
4. 9th-10th

Now you might be wondering what’s the reason behind this kind of grouping?

Basically, in a normal school setting children attend classes with just their batch mates. Now for students who are way ahead of their batch mates, this setting restricts them from thinking just beyond. Grouping them with a senior student as well as their juniors helps them to think outside the box, as well as learn from their elders as well as juniors.

All these help develop a person holistically. We all know developing IQ is really important but on the way other factors like EQ are ignored, a high IQ is also something we tend to be born with while emotional intelligence is something we can work to improve.

Even when it comes to IQ, unlike other institutions who are doing a wonderfully great job in teaching your kids academic courses, we as BrainWeave help your child enhance their IQ required for any kind of academic study. 

To a large degree, our emotional intelligence starts in childhood with how we’re raised , we can take steps to get emotionally “smarter.” We cater sub-aspects in EQ such as self-awareness, self-esteem, self-knowledge, and self-perception. 

SQ or the spiritual quotient is where we teach the kids to connect with themselves, how to help relax and calm down, open up their mind so they may know themselves better and deeper. Activities like art-therapy, music-therapy, meditation, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques are included under this aspect. The spiritual Quotient of an individual is essential because it allows interacting with one’s inner self (through several activities; aiding in enabling a person to become more aware of one’s own needs and potentials). The importance of spiritual skills in a child is enormous, especially when learned at an initial stage because it teaches him how to have control in the self, helping cope better in negative life situations, being a better version of themselves.

Perspective taking is really a social-emotional-intellectual skill, in that it requires hard work from our brains and also utilizes empathy and understanding. By teaching the child perspective taking skills, we are giving them all the tools they need to build healthy, happy and successful relationships throughout their lives. 

Personality Development should start early in a student’s life which is a true reflection of their inner being. It can be defined as a set of traits that shape the inner and outer being in a person with an organized pattern of behavior that makes a person distinctive. Personality development also plays an essential role in improving one’s communication skills. Individuals ought to master the art of expressing their thoughts and feelings in the most desired way. Personality development makes you a confident individual who is appreciated and respected wherever he goes. 

Creativity allows us to view and solve problems more openly and with innovation. Creativity opens the mind. As one of the major developmental tasks in early childhood, learning to communicate is key for children to interact with the persons in their world and to have their needs met. 

Communication development for young children includes gaining the skills to understand and to express thoughts, feelings, and information. 

Life skills make us competent to know how to make our life easy and simple, how to create a positive life, and how life can be spent in the right way. Therefore, life skills are very important in our life. It polishes the ability to adapt to all kinds of circumstances and succeed in every aspect of society.
